Fitness Program

Our fitness program is an integral part of our overall trauma-informed counselling program for youth at risk. Positive physical health directly impacts positive mental health, and the therapist managing this program is also a Certified Fitness Instructor.

This program is provided free of charge to Dan’s Legacy’s clients, and uses a holistic-biopsychosocial therapeutic approach: health and fitness training; counselling support; life-skills intervention; promotion of peer interaction; and connection to the community.

Monthly passes are provided  to youth who show commitment and regular attendance to the training sessions during their first month participating in the program.
