After meeting many service providers, educators, social workers, doctors and therapists throughout the New Westminster, Surrey, Delta, and Richmond areas, we determined that knowledge of other youth-focused programs and services in the region is not widespread.
The idea of meeting regularly to bridge that gap was met favourably, so we’re designing a working group that will meet our needs.
Our Program Director Tom Littlewood has taken part in a RICHER table and we propose creating a similar collective based on that model – we’re calling it Youth FIRST (Fraser Integrated Response Specialists Team).
