April 19 – 25, 2020 is National Volunteer Week and we at Dan’s Legacy would like to take this opportunity to recognize all our volunteers who share their time and talents with us and remind them of how outstanding they really are.
Dan’s Legacy relies on the continued commitment of volunteers to help us provide critical therapeutic counselling and life-skills programs to at-risk youth in our community.
“They are an instrumental part of our mission – whether playing a key role at our special events, washing dishes at our weekly community dinners, hosting fundraisers of their own, or serving as Directors on our Board, the incredible efforts of our volunteers make a profound and lasting difference in our community,” says Amy Mildenberger, Dan’s Legacy’s Volunteer Manager. “Their hard work means so much and their dedication, compassion and sincere desire to give back is an inspiration to us all.”
Interested in becoming a volunteer? Whether you want to make a significant impact in your community, learn new skills or develop connections, there are many great reasons to volunteer.
