Trauma-informed counselling and wrap-around programs for at-risk youth
2024 Chefs’ Charity Dinner
2024 Chefs’ Charity Dinner
Our 11th annual Chefs’ Charity Dinner is coming to New Westminster, and we invite you to join the celebration! We can’t wait to see you on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the historic Freemasons Hall in New Westminster to sample the delights of our gourmet guest chefs, each of whom will prepare a signature dish using recovered food.
Funds raised at our event go directly towards our trauma-informed, no-barrier counselling programs for youth at-risk in New Westminster and across Metro Vancouver.
Our therapists, social workers and outreach workers go directly to the youth wherever they are. We embed our therapists in local community organizations, making it even easier for the youth to find us. Our office and Dan’s Diner social enterprise are located in New Westminster, and locally we’re working directly with Aunt Leah’s Place, the Purpose Society, Union Gospel Mission, and Burnaby Neighbourhood House in the community next door.
Dan’s Legacy is a growing organization gaining a significant presence in the Lower Mainland. We are very proud to be able to work with 16 community organizations, including our most recent partner the Lower Fraser Valley Aboriginal Society of Langley.
If you have a young person in your life who is experiencing mental health challenges, we are here to help.
Each year we host our Chefs’ Charity Dinner in a different community, and on November 16 we’re coming to New Westminster!
We’re looking for organizations eager to help youth at risk and change the trajectory of their lives. You can do this with your sponsorship of our fundraiser.
