Dan’s Legacy 11th Annual Chefs’ Charity Dinner in New Westminster Gourmet Food, Friends and Fundraiser on November 16

DELTA, BC – On Saturday, November 16, Dan’s Legacy will host its 11th Annual Chefs’ Charity Dinner at the Freemasons Hall in New Westminster, raising funds to support its no-barrier, trauma-informed counselling and wrap around programs for at-risk youth.

Guests are invited to come out in support of the cause, and enjoy a smorgasbord of dishes prepared by guest Chefs Shay Kelly (Lach & Kea Culinary Consultants), Andrew Brazeau-George (ReRoot/Ono Vancouver), Alannah Peddie (Frolic & Forage Catering), and Luke Willingdon (Dan’s Diner) – along with students in Dan’s Legacy’s Cook Training program – who will only use recovered food in their creations.

Well known celebrity Erin Cebula will MC the event once again, and attending dignitaries at the time of writing include Chief Rhonda Larrabee of the Qayqayt First Nation, Elder Bill Nelson (Elder-in-Residence of the City of New Westminster), MP Peter Julian and Mayor Patrick Johnstone, amongst other donors, funders and supporters.

The evening’s program includes music, a silent auction, stories from Dan’s Legacy’s youth clients, and a chance to enjoy outstanding cuisine – a foodie’s dream!
